COMMUNITY MENTAL WELLBEING PROGRAMME
A counselling‑supported wellbeing programme providing funded float and sauna sessions for people facing barriers to mental health support.
GP referrals welcome.
What we do
Our programme combines BACP‑aligned counselling support with optional float and infrared sauna sessions to promote relaxation, emotional regulation and recovery. Counselling provides the therapeutic structure; float and sauna provide a supportive environment for rest and reflection.

Counselling Support
All participants have access to counselling support from a qualified practitioner, following the BACP Ethical Framework. Sessions focus on emotional support, reflection and making sense of experiences before and/or after float or sauna sessions.

Full Spectrum Infrared Sauna
Gentle far-infrared heat penetrates tissues for muscle relaxation. Supports stress reduction, pain relief and emotional calm

Float Therapy
Experience weightlessness in magnesium-rich epsom salt water. Help reduce stress and anxiety and support people living with depression or trauma.
Our Approach
Counselling – Therapeutic conversations, assessment and ongoing support.
Float Therapy – Deep relaxation environment to aid stress reduction and body calm.
Infrared Sauna – Gentle heat to support relaxation and physical comfort.
Float and sauna sessions are offered as wellbeing and relaxation experiences and are not a substitute for medical or psychiatric treatment.

• Significant anxiety & depression reductions

FULL SPECTRUM INFRARED SAUNA
Full spectrum infrared penetrates tissues at gentle temperatures (43–60°C), improving circulation, reducing chronic pain and lowering blood pressure. UK studies show muscle relaxation, better sleep and stress hormone regulation – perfect complement to mental health treatment.
BACP COUNSELLING SUPPORT
BACP-registered therapists follow a rigorous Ethical Framework, providing confidential one-to-one support before and after float therapy sessions to help clients prepare mentally, process emotions safely, and integrate therapeutic experiences into their mental health recovery. This clinical oversight maximises the benefits of floatation therapy while maintaining the highest professional standards recognised across NHS and private healthcare pathways.

Testimonials

Andrew
34, PTSD & Chronic Tension
"I carried muscle tension like armour plating from years of trauma. The float tank dissolved it in ways no massage could. Combined with the sauna, I felt human again. The BACP therapist helped me make sense of the emotional release. Six sessions gave me tools I still use daily."

Sarah
32, Anxiety & Depression
"After years of NHS waiting lists and therapy that didn't click, four float sessions changed everything. My anxiety dropped noticeably – I actually slept through the night for the first time in months. The pre-session counselling helped me process what came up. This isn't just relaxation; it's recovery."

Rachel
42, Burnout & Carer Stress
"As a full-time carer, I was running on empty. Float therapy was my reset button – deep calm I hadn't felt in years. The sauna sessions eased the physical exhaustion, and counselling helped me set boundaries without guilt. This service is a lifeline for people like me who can't afford private care."
